Dusk is an artist hailing from New South Wales, Australia. She began her musical journey playing piano as a child, which later evolved alongside her love for rap and hip hop.
In her late teens and early 20’s, Dusk went onto record and perform as a member of the Australian hip hop crew ‘Blades’. Now residing in Los Angeles, the rapper, singer and song writer has worked on tracks featuring the Australian hip hop group Hilltop Hoods, and female vocalist, Jane Tyrrell.
Dusk’s sound fuses hip hop beats and live drums with melodically driven layers. It successfully integrates rap verses, singing hooks and breakdowns, with the ambient sounds of live instrument recordings such as the piano, horns, violins and guitar.
